This paper presents a methodological proposal of formative evaluation, which adapts to the need to learn to program through the motivation to teach, during the making of a video recording. The computer tools available on the web, the work of realizing a digital composition of self-etching, a step-by-step explanation like sequences of instructions that makes the student of a chosen exercise, to develop the solution of a problem and with the use of an environment of programming, can achieve positive learning consolidation effects. In this process of acquiring the basic knowledge in the use of a programming language, it is based on the significant experience of the student when performing an activity of own recording - explanation. With this, it allows to achieve a mastery of the chosen subject and therefore remains a digital product that allows others to learn. There is evidence of improvement in skills and promotes cross skills with a high degree of satisfaction on the part of students in the development of the video.
