Abstract

The telework was an alternative for the world to continue its economic activities, during the pandemic by the COVID-19, its presence has shown new opportunities in the business world, however, it is necessary to inquire about the welfare and happiness of employees who work in this mode of work. The objective of the study was: to analyze the incidence of telework, on the labor happiness in the collaborators of the city of Guayaquil. For this purpose, a descriptive study of both qualitative and quantitative variables was carried out, the interviews were conducted to five experts in areas of human talent and managers of companies, while the survey was directed to 387 workers who have done face-to-face work and teleworking. It is observed a decrease in the levels of job satisfaction through the modality of teleworking. It is concluded that the levels of labor happiness on the part of the workers have been influenced negatively during the telework due to factors such as: the increase of activities and the fact of not having the tools and the suitable environment to exercise their work.
