Abstract

The Daule is one of the main rivers of the country; it originates from the Daule-Peripa dam and ends up connecting with the Babahoyo to form the Guayas River, which is one of the most important resources for Guayaquil as it allows the entry of ships to the different ports in the area. From there, water is extracted to make it potable for the use of the citizens and used by the bottling companies for the subsequent sale of bottled and treated water.
