Abstract

This study focuses on the river water by analyzing the population and the level of total dissolved solids in the water of the Daule River. We also want to determine if this water can be used to convert it into drinking water, since it is a vital resource that all living beings need and it is very scarce. It should be noted that not all water is available for consumption, 70% of the outside of the world is secured by water, 2.05% is solidified and only 0.65% is consumable. What is left is continental ice, a large percentage is in the seas and oceans themselves which contain in excess of 30 grams of total dissolved solids per liter of water and is unfit for humans and creatures; additionally hard water and with a high concentration of STD. Its misuse can affect people in a negative way.
