Abstract

The work addresses, through the narrative and systematization of the experience gathered in existing studies on the Intercultural Bilingual Education (IBE) career, the reflection on the ethical commitment of the research itself. It begins with an approach to the context of the case of the educational project under analysis, paying special attention to its origin and the links between the training proposal and the demands and requirements of indigenous peoples for their own education. Next, six works are identified that, over a period of 13 years, study the educational proposal and generate knowledge in their findings that end up becoming inputs for the improvement of the same project studied. From the experience of the research itself, reflection is made on the ethical commitment of academia and feedback to practice.
