Abstract
From different perspectives, this book examines the many facets of diversity and the challenges we face in trying to understand and accept them. Encouraged by linguistics, educational processes, language contact, translinguism, and the growing linguistic vulnerability, we analyze multiple situations of languages in displacement, reflect on some of the responses that have been generated and that aim at long-term linguistic-cultural revitalization, and put on the discussion table theories, concepts and methodologies that we believe will contribute to research and action, from our own realities. We hope that this book will lead us to reflect and position ourselves in the face of the innumerable social, linguistic and cultural inequities that surround us and, above all, that it will encourage us to live in diversity with each and every one of our senses.
