Abstract

Wireless Network Control Systems (WNCS) are spatially distributed systems where the communication between sensors, actuators and controllers occurs by means of a wireless digital communication network with limited capacity. This distributed architecture allows the system to adapt physically, in general allows to reduce the costs of installation due to the decrease of the wiring. Moreover, it makes possible to use a corporation intranet or the internet to get the different components of the control system connected, so that the elements of the wireless system can be placed far away from each other and to close the control loop through the net or the cloud, hence the realization of a wireless controller is proposed to reduce the transmissions through the sensor to the controller and from the controller to the actuator as much as possible, guarantying the dynamic behavior of the closed loop as well as the stability of the plant, for which we are going to develop and implement a PID controller based in events applied to a control system of a plant (Beam-Ball), in which predictive algorithms will be applied.
