Abstract

This document intends to analyze the electrical resistances that affect the induction cooking system, specifically the electrical resistance that is produced by the induction of Eddy currents in one of the layers of the pot that is placed on the induction cooker and affects in its electrical efficiency. It is common to use technologies without generating interest about their operation, however, for an engineer this is inevitable, even more so when talking about regulated systems like this. The induction cooker is a revolutionary technology; while it is true that, was lost in its implementation at Latin American countries as Ecuador, it is also true that it is highly appreciated in Europe.
