Abstract

In Ecuador, since the 1980s, organizations, movements and collectives have been formed and have become social actors, contributing to Ecuadorian political decisions. Women's organizations have also gained notable importance, given the scope obtained, both in the political and social spheres. Their proposals and demands have achieved rights, recognition and representation. Currently, the feminist movement has several ramifications with specific characteristics.
