Description
General objective
Determine if the increase in population density and the economic development of the cities of Guayaquil and Daule influence the levels of contamination of the waters along the Guayas and Daule rivers.
Justification
At present, the impact that humanity has had on the environment is known, but, however, there is little information on specific studies of demographic data and its impact on the Guayas and Daule rivers. This project is justified by giving knowing the scientific community and society in general if there are demographic data of the inhabitants of the city of Guayaquil and Daule that influence the level of water quality in the Daule and Guayas rivers. The dependent variable of research is the quality of the water, the most important research indicators being the following: microbiological, heavy metals, BOD, COD, turbidity, temperature, pH, conductivity, humidity and oxygen. The independent variable is the demographic factors of the city of Guayaquil and Daule with the analysis of the following indicators: population density, migration, longevity, and economic development.
