General objective Develop and implement a PID algorithm for network control systems based on events using wireless sensors Justification In this paper, we are interested in event-based PID control problems of a stable plant, and three improvements to existing event-based PID control approaches are proposed to reduce the number of sampling. The efficiency of the new proposed algorithms are shown by some comparisons, showing that the number of samples can be further reduced and the best control performance is also guaranteed. Furthermore, we also apply the new algorithms to an unstable high-order plant, which also illustrates the proposed algorithms are efficient.
