Organization profile

The Research Group in Electronics, Control and Automation (GIECA), aims to contribute to the development of sustainable research aimed at solving social and industrial problems, through new techniques of control and automation, using new technologies to help people with disabilities, through the creation of efficient prototypes, in addition to developing new algorithms and intelligent control architectures to automate industrial processes and thus increase efficiency and productivity in companies.

GIECA seeks to work on a new dynamic of reflection and scientific academic production in the area of Electronics and Automation that will allow a more fruitful dialogue between science and technology, an important objective around the emblematic projects of public and private nature, as well as in relation to the change of the productive matrix presented in the national development plan 2017-2021.
