WORK in PROGRESS: Study of student ergonomics in classrooms based on posture monitoring

Resumen

This paper proposes the review of ergonomics for monitoring the body positions related to the spine in the environment of the students in the classrooms; therefore, the main objective of this work is to obtain technological bases to develop a flexible and portable intelligent prototype; In addition, the system considers the management and diagnosis of the correct body posture in users who remain long periods in sedentary positions, thus obtaining a history of their body postures; analyze the impact that students have when there is a feedback on postural behavior during the course of the class session through student perception and the teaching staff of the institution.
