Resumen
The electrification of remote communities based on renewable energy has achieved the development of the inhabitants, reducing poverty; however, the lack of tracing and management of renewable energy systems becomes a short-term problem. This work presents a proposal for an alternative sustainable management model for the electrification of isolated communities, considering the objectives for the sustainable development of the United Nations and the legislation of Ecuador. To complete the work, the economic technical study of a photovoltaic system for the electrification of the parish Pílalo is carried out, where the initial costs, operation, and maintenance are considered. The cost of energy (COE) is 0.216 USD/kWh, with which the value can be established by the energy supply with the aim of raising funds and sustaining the project during the operating time.
