La Automatización: Perspectivas Desde el Clima Organizacional en Empresas de Guayaquil

Resumen

The dynamics of the business environment, together with the need to innovate and achieve greater efficiency and productivity, have driven automation to increasingly gain ground in organizations. However, this has generated fear among employees, who fear losing their source of income when they recognize their lack of skills for the new processes. Therefore, the objective is to determine how automation is perceived from the organizational climate in companies in Guayaquil. The method applied was analytical and inductive-deductive, with a mixed approach. The techniques used were targeted questionnaires (surveys) and semi-structured interviews. The sample consisted of 385 participants. The results show that workers feel uncertain about automation, although they recognize its undeniable significant contribution to improving work activities, as well as the creation of new opportunities as job opportunities grow in other areas. It is concluded that development is inherent in substantial changes at the organizational level, and that companies must readjust their personnel structure, develop training plans focused on automation and artificial intelligence, and anticipate possible skills needed for the future. Similarly, effective communication between CEOs and employees aimed at mitigating the negative perception of automation will significantly improve the organizational climate and employee motivation.
