Feedback + Feedforward Speed Control for a DC Motor Using an ARM Platform

Resumen

This study focuses on the speed control of direct current (DC) motors using an ARM platform. DC motors are widely used due to their precision and simplicity in speed control. However, speed control and regulation present challenges due to the lack of effective methods and the need for efficient initial loading. In this work, different control methods will be used to regulate the speed of a DC motor. Techniques such as the PID controller and a feedforward anticipatory control of field current dependent on speed will be used. A combined feedforward and feedback control system will be implemented using an ARM platform. The results include the development of a speed control system for DC motors that minimizes errors in the face of external disturbances. A controller is expected to be obtained through feedforward and feedback techniques, validated through tests and analysis. This study seeks to develop a speedcontrolled system for DC motors using an ARM platform. With this, precise and efficient control is expected, minimizing errors caused by external disturbances.
