Resumen

The incidence of neurological diseases has increased in recent years, its diagnosis and monitoring have several limitations. Although their affections begin in the brain, there are investigations that relate their symptomatology with their body activity. This work shows the acquisition of biosignals in real time and their storage for further analysis in patients with neurodegenerative diseases such as Epilepsy, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. The proposed system uses pulse, body temperature, humidity and electrodermal activity sensors, on the Arduino which allows third party contribution to let continuous improve-ment of the system as a wireless sensor network. The system uses four modules, the reception module collects information and transmits it to a smart phone by Bluetooth. Then the smart phone uses a graphical interface to show signal responses and its evolution. Our prototype was compared to commercial devices and it meets the technical and design aspects offering to us the chance to move to commercialize as a next step, but some optimization details must be outlined in the process.
