Análisis de la Influencia de las Mejoras Tecnológicas en el Incremento de la Eficiencia Energética de Refrigeradores Domésticos en el Ecuador.

This article presents a System Dynamics model, which allows to analyze mainly the influence of thetype of compressor in the energy saving of the domestic refrigerators that have operated in Ecuadorsince the year 2010 with projection to the 2050, based on the comparison of the consumption ofelectric power in TWh / year of the total of these equipment, considering three cases of differenttechnological application that are identified in the type of compressor and the type of refrigerant mostused in several countries of Latin America. The results of the electric savings to be achieved by 2020are estimated at 21% by the use of the refrigerant R600a and the reciprocating compressor EmbracoFullmotion, 26% by the use of the compressor line and refrigerant R600a and lastly by 27% by theuse of the linear compressor Wisemotion developed by Embraco.
