Resumen
Different models in Information and Communication Technologies(TICS) were analyzed as an alternative to mitigate information security risks in electoral process. The main objective is to define a prototype of a Conceptual Model for Information Security Management in an Electoral Process in the Natioal Electoral Council of Ecuador. The deductive method and exploratory were used to analyze the information of the referenced and the different communications of the written and spoken press. This research resulted in a Prototype the security of information through a risk matrix, a Prototype of the Conceptual Security programme, a Prototype of Electoral Process in Flow Chart and Vote Loss Probability Formula. It was concluded that the prototypes presented as results are an alternative to improve of security the information of the electoral processes in Ecuador and that they which can be used as reference in other countries with similar of electoral population.
