Intereses de la investigación
El trabajo del investigador abarca sistemas de energía e infraestructura inteligente, con un enfoque cohesionado en electrificación sostenible y protección confiable en redes eléctricas, complementado con enfoques ICT/IA. Las publicaciones muestran una progresión desde aprovechar recursos renovables y desarrollo rural, hasta implementar protección basada en estándares (IEC 61850) y coordinación en tiempo real, pasando por IA, gobernanza y plataformas automáticas de decisión en justicia y administración pública, y finalmente tecnologías inmersivas para formación en seguridad. Las metodologías incluyen análisis teórico, simulaciones, modelado económico y técnico de sistemas eólicos–fotovoltaicos, configuraciones de protección IEC 61850, formación en VR para seguridad y estudios de viabilidad para electrificación rural con energía renovable. El impacto radica en impulsar el desarrollo rural sostenible, mejorar la confiabilidad de la protección y reducir costos de mantenimiento, habilitar herramientas de gobernanza basadas en datos y demostrar el valor de la realidad virtual y el análisis para la seguridad laboral y la planificación energética. Este perfil integrado posiciona al investigador en la intersección de la ingeniería eléctrica, TIC para redes inteligentes y despliegue responsable de tecnología en contextos desfavorecidos.
