Abstract
This article was based on textual analysis of expert books that address topics such as YouTube and participatory culture and participatoryinterculturality. As a result of the study, carried out through the content analysis technique, the characteristics that YouTube platform must comply with were identified in order to consider that it fosters participatory interculturality among the adprosumers of its platform. Additionally, some YouTube projects were mentioned, which involve elements of participatory interculturality, but unfortunately have not been implemented in Latin America.
