Abstract
What is left to prove to young people in this world of patience and disgust? Just graffiti? Rock? Skepticism? They also have nosay amen do not let love kill them regain speech and utopia beyoung people without haste and with memory place themselves in a story that is theirs notbecome premature old men ”. In this quote, Mario Benedetti describesthe fast-paced world where today's youth cultures unfold, those cultures that kill love, expression and the essence of what to beyoung means. The human being not only expresses himself with words but also with gestures, with actions with successes and errors with experience such assuch. If we live in a virtual culture this experience decays completely. Benedetti rejects current youth trends and alludes to how they are led by a society full of restrictions, where the system is acceptedin its entirety, where there is no rebellion on the part of what in essenceit should form the youth. They have imposed on us a dependent lifestyle, full of technology, virtual resources that facilitate daily life, resources that have collaborated to create this disconnection with reality.
