Abstract
Considering the importance of Integrated Watershed Management and its intimate nexus with the quality and quantity of water resources, the authors have produced this compilation based on selected bibliography, as well as on experiences in the field of teaching at the Salesian Polytechnic University. The work is composed of six chapters that include: the theoretical framework of watersheds and their functions; the integral study of hydrology in watersheds and their use in integral development projects; the description of water quality parameters in watersheds and the most favorable atmospheric conditions for their development; the instruments of environmental management in watersheds.
