Abstract
This article shows the necessity to revalue the local identity sense in Fifth Grade students at Middle level in Education, who attend at Miguel Prieto School. Their curriculum contemplates the Artistic and Cultural Education subject, which is related to themes about identity, an approach to diversity and heritage environment, also the searching about Art and Culture roles in learning and teaching processes in Cultural and Artistic Education subject. Thus, a case study is applied to fourteen students. The findings determine a reactivation in a ludic, ritual and aesthetic dimensions at Education in Arts, Culture and Heritage to promote students to recognize themselves as autonomous and free-thinking people, who have a high sense of otherness and can spread their knowledge, customs and traditions throughout different artistic and cultural expressions.
