Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to contribute to and conceptual theoretical framework for understanding the meaning and significance of women in the history of philosophy tools, reflections that allow rethink and transform the way of thinking about women and their leadership in today’s society. To fulfill this purpose a set of alternatives that contribute to a redefinition of women from its social leadership seen in recent times is suggested; a retrospective and current view of the different conceptions about women have emerged within a philosophy built by men, a variety of concepts that traditionally have been shaping and consolidating a particular social structure that every time the gap between men and women widens performed gradually giving more power to the former. It is a bibliographic review work. It is based on the principles and processes of the phenomenological-hermeneutic method.
