The leachate generated by the direct disposal of solid waste in the soil of the terrace number one of the sanitary landfill "Romerillos" contaminates the environment being visible up to an average distance of 20 m with the presence of dry vegetation cover showing leachate infiltration and contamination on the soil, on the surface and underground. While in the soil of the terrace number one of the sanitary landfill of Ambato the contaminated environmental environment is visualized to an average distance of 33 m with the presence of dry vegetal cover. In both cases (landfill "Romerillos" and Ambato landfill) a quantification study of codified variability (Matlab) and spatial variability (ArcGis) of characteristics such as hydraulic load, pressure load, percentage of leachate was carried out. Field data were collected for Matlab simulation, among which the variables infiltration velocity, porosity, infiltration distance, Van Genuchten parameters and time were used for 10 specific GPS Navigator sampling points. The estimation graphs were created for each variable at times of 10, 20, 30 and 40 min. Through the observation of the graphs obtained in Matlab it was determined that the hydraulic load variable is inversely proportional to depth, it was also established that in the pressure load its behavior is directly proportional to depth and in the case of leachate percentage an inversely proportional behavior to depth is observed. All the variables analyzed show a normal behavior due to the type of clayloam soil in the case of the landfill "Romerillos" and sandy-loam in the landfill of Ambato.
