Abstract

Diana Yaneth Ávila Camargo, presents the article: Utility and importance of the teaching-learning of social sciences didactics, in which she states that since the WHO declared a worldwide health emergency due to the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus contagion, a disease known as COVID-2019 in 2020, the world's education systems had to turn to virtual, online, hybrid or remote education, changes that initially generated much instability in educational spaces at all levels, from early education to higher education, by governmental provisions since mid-March 2020, educational institutions begin to propose various strategies of technological, social, economic, political, pedagogical, didactic, statistical, health, to continue the educational process. In this context, the author reflects on the usefulness and importance of teaching social sciences for basic education teachers in training at the Salesian Polytechnic University.
