Uso de Tecnologías para la Gestión y Preservación de Bienes Patrimoniales (Coordinación)

The concern to safeguard this heritage against anthropogenic effects such as accelerated urbanization, climate change or other risks, has driven the search for solutions in the use of new technologies; Added to this, in the Ecuadorian case, is the lack of professionals who work in this sector. In this context, this book describes the insertion of new technologies in heritage management, finding appropriate solutions for tasks of registration, documentation, conservation and dissemination of heritage assets. The text is made up of several investigations that from academia or public institutions have made use of these technologies, taking into account the current regulatory frameworks and the specifications that the care of each heritage asset demands.
