Use of ICTs in Notaries of the City of Guayaquil in the Face of the Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract

The objective of this research article is to analyze the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and its incidence in the provision of services in the notaries of the city of Guayaquil in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic in order to know the reality of the use of technological tools in labor processes. This research is apply, because it determines the effects of ICT in the notaries of the city of Guayaquil in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic and the focus of the research was mixed, with the theoretical foundations as antecedents for the qualitative part and the application of thesurvey for field research. The population analyzed were the notaries of Guayaquil that give a number of 80, while the sample determined by the finite population formula with 95% confidence and 5% margin of error, gives a value of 67 to those who are used the survey. The results determined that several changes arose after the pandemic, such as a greater use of technological resources, but that in turn restrictions limit customer service and that the Sanyr system is not yet use in greater quantities for the benefit of customers. One of the main conclusions of the research was that it is necessary for staff to be trained in the use of ICT to complement and streamline processes in notaries.
