University radio—created more than 102 years ago—is the ideal tool for the democratization of the word, the production and transfer of knowledge; and for the perennialization and development of educommunication at all levels for the progress of scientific academic activities and connection with the community of higher education entities and the promotion of the professional practice of horizontal communication. The Internet, social networks, streaming, Spotify, and podcasts through the web platform are the digital and electronic mechanisms that allow the expansion of university radio to be consolidated, allowing its appropriate use for the benefit of today's society; and limiting bureaucratization to obtain open signal frequencies in the radio spectrum, considering that its development is unstoppable, which positively increases the development of new multimedia products.
