Abstract
This book offers a reflection on university cultural manaement in Ecuador, highlighting its essential role as a tool for human development and social transformation. It brings together interdisciplinary perspectives that demonstrate how culture, beyond being an institutional adornment, is a strategic axis between academia, art, and social action. It addresses the integration of culture into higher education, including teaching, research, and community outreach. In this sense, it analyzes practical experiences in university cultural spaces, artistic exhibitions based on scientific production, and the management of public spaces as scenarios for cultural development.
