Abstract
Precisely in response to the early stimulation needs of children and the deficiencies that occur in certain areas of the population, the Early Childhood Education and Basic Education programs of the Salesian Polytechnic University (UPS) of Guayaquil implemented the Research and Outreach Project in the Nueva Vida Community, located in the vicinity of the Maria Auxiliadora campus, for two semesters. The starting point was the idea that educational intervention in the community was a process through which the influence of teachers, parents and other educational agents is exerted on certain subjects who are other educational agents, on certain subjects living in a given geographical context.
