Abstract
The unprecedented situation that the world has experienced due to the pandemic caused by HIV/AIDS-19 has placed a great spotlight on the educational system and has shown, in all its crudeness, the educational inequalities. Moreover, the pandemic has exposed the real dimension of the deep structural inequalities in countries, and the weaknesses of public health, education and social protection systems which, beyond the serious crisis the world is experiencing, have lacked the basic conditions to protect the population.
