Abstract
This research work explores the following key aspects: Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in education, these in times of emergency, their exercise in students with disabilities and the development of the three in education in Salesian educational centers. In the process, research tools were applied such as the online questionnaire to representatives, teachers and students, as well as the documentary review available in institutional web environments that allowed identifying the assertive strategic actions undertaken by Salesian entities facing the new scenario of education in emergency. Through triangulation of the information and the instruments applied to the respondents of the three Salesian educational centers in the city of Guayaquil, the digital platforms and ICT tools used in the development of classes, homework management, academic reinforcement, communication, among other processes, were identified, which are described in this work, while the frequency of use of ICT proposed by their teachers in the classroom and the level of impact on their learning in equal conditions were surveyed with the students with disabilities. The study identified that, in spite of the adversity caused by the pandemic and the abrupt change to the non-presential school modality, the implementation of effective ICT has been achieved and has generated a high impact on the learning and performance of students with disabilities, highlighting among other aspects the creation of effective learning communities, and the affective accompaniment, Salesian mysticism.
