Aproximaciones Teóricas de la Transparencia en la Información Pública Local de los Gad Municipales del Ecuador

At present, the media, although immersed in the dilemma posed by new information and communication technologies, the immediacy of the news, the globalized world, a society that is more informed and alert of what is happening in the whole world, nevertheless, continue to be agents, actors and protagonists of world attention. The vast majority of the media have codes that regulate the ethical behavior of their workers, journalists, managers and administrative personnel. But it is also true that the vast majority of these codes consist of long lists of dos and don'ts that in the end few read and few others comply with. A society, such as the Ecuadorian one, which is in permanent change and transformation, much of which responds to the current and global dynamics of innovations in information and technology, requires an axiology that sustains it and needs vast research in this regard. It is therefore undeniable the need to propose to society a work that is interested in the transparency and quality of the information presented through the web.
