Abstract

In this article the video forum as an effective technological tool for teaching and learning of Mathematic to be used by Dicent in the early levels of university, so that they capture, understand and apply the knowledge gained in the classroom. The result of the implementation of the proposed tool is attention, acceptance, concentration and increasing the student’s ability to modify their environment with mathematic studies. It quotes experts in education at all levels and people who have had the experience to analyze and implement the educational video as a teaching tool to improve the quality of mathematic teaching. The evidence shown is the implementation of an activity called “forum video” which takes place in 4 of the 5 periods analyzed in the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana sede Guayaquil, in the first three levels of the careers of engineering systems, industrial and as in business administration, where relevant results were obtained and a significant impact in improving marks and the increase in the number of approved students.
