Abstract
This book entitled Transhumanism and parallel realities. Questions from Philosophy and Theology is the result of an interdisciplinary analysis of recognized authors and researchers in the field of Philosophy and Theology from the Salesian Polytechnic University of Ecuador and the Pontifical Javeriana University of Colombia. The book establishes a dialogue between philosophy, theology and religion with technoscience. It is a set of six chapters that carry out an interdisciplinary dialogue but broken down from specific topics. It is a well-analyzed, clear, coherent work with argumentative unity that responds to the situations of our times. The most visible common thread throughout the development of the book has to do with the tensions generated for humanism by the stakes of current technoscience.
