Abstract
This paper analyzes the characteristics of the 4 legislative branches of the Andean countries, answering the following questions: Which legislative system is the most efficient in terms of spending through its executed budget and in relation to its GDP, national budget, amount of legislators, salaries in relation to GDP per capita and legislative spending in relation to the executed budget? Which member country needs to generate strategies to improve the perception of efficiency of the legislative power?.
