Abstract
This article aims to contribute to the reflection on some of the aspects that occur around discrimination, starting from a theoretical journey on the subject and projected in a pilot experience carried out by students of the Salesian Polytechnic University (UPS) who live with some kind of disability. The experience was coordinated by the Department of Student Welfare with the main objective of making visible and analyzing a diverse and little treated reality, for the construction of an inclusive university. the first part develops the theoretical basis on discrimination and the right to inclusion to decant in a reflection on the processes of otherness in the university environment. In the second part, results are presented on the systematization of the experience referred to, from which leads are placed for discussion and final reflections are established.
