Abstract
This paper seeks to show how the development of projects that integrate different areas of knowledge can strengthen specific competencies in university students. The careers of Administrative Sciences of the Salesian Polytechnic University, in the year 2017 starts a pilot plan with students and teachers, the main objective is to strengthen specific competencies: literacy, research and entrepreneurship or business idea in students, to generate solutions that contribute to social and professional development. The Integrating Project is conceived as a formative strategy that integrates students in their different knowledge, areas, methodologies, interdisciplinary research, framed in the career guidelines. the research was able to collect the most relevant data to understand the conceptions of the participants, as well as their knowledge and position on the subject. The results reveal that 84% of the students managed to improve their specific competencies, which shows that this strategy has become a culture that generates spaces and opportunities for students to develop their initiatives and consolidate them through their personal and professional projects.
