Abstract

The ancestral prophecies of Abya Yala announced the arrival of the time of the heart: a time in which the condor, symbol of the heart of the peoples of the south, must unite its wings with the eagle, symbol of the reason of the peoples of the north, to fly together and free by the same sky. Only then will humanity find possibilities to heal life and heal the wounds of the mother earth that is dying today. The heart makes it possible to look at reality from a reflective sensitivity and from a sentient reflectivity. Hence, in this text, the heart is drawn from the poetic force of the wise word of mamas and taitas that travel along the path of the yachaks; it walks along the medicinal wheel of the four winds, and, as a way of poetizing the theory, it converses with the wisdom and spirituality that dwells in testimonies, poems, songs, stories that contribute to the awakening of consciousness. The heart is a spiritual and political response for the healing of existence.
