Abstract
The present investigation has like objective the study of which are the factors and influences for the consumption of alcohol, the impact and consequences on the society, using the method of compilation of bibliographic data referring to the investigation. Considering the city of Quito - Ecuador as a point of reference for the analysis regarding the consumption of alcoholic beverages. All the factors that lead to the consumption of alcoholic beverages will be analyzed in an ethical way in order to determine the ways to prevent alcoholism by analyzing all the information considered for the development of the subject. Get to identify the different disorders that alcohol consumption produces in people, which will allow us to identify the number of people who consume alcohol in Ecuador using statistics data made by organizations related to the subject such as OSM y INEC.
