Abstract
Teachers today must be concerned to apply innovative ways of transmitting knowledge, in such a way that promote the responsible development of learners, to raise their level of understanding, discernment and especially construction of new knowledge from the you already own. Therefore, plan educational intervention in the classroom means adjusting strategies and methodologies to mental organization and the student intellectuals schemes, since it has and should be encouraged to conduct their own learning; this can achieve as planned to perform the educator to teaching meets its own demands and those of society, and so teachers can contribute to the formation of a comprehensive professional. This research proposes a model of strategies and methodologies for learning theoretical and practical subjects. Qualitative research was carried out by, using the survey technique for gathering information. In this study conducted in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador, students of the Salesian Polytechnic University, the results indicate that only 28% of students are actively involved in the learning process of the subject.
