Abstract
This chapter focuses on how Artificial Intelligence is transforming sports journalism by automating the collection of statistics and the generation of narratives. While these tools can increase efficiency and accuracy, it also criticizes the potential loss of depth and the risk of homogenization of content. How to maintain a balance between technology and traditional journalism to preserve the integrity and richness of sports journalism is debated.
