Abstract
It is clear that indigenous communities and individuals are no longer what they were, and linguists can no longer be what they were. The following text aims to offer clues "ingredients" for thinking about the language-identity-territory relationship, and shows the need to articulate our knowledge to the perception of the speakers themselves and to dialogue with a broader perspective of social analysis.
