Abstract
From the movements of the first human groups in search of resources to contemporary migrations motivated by social, economic, political, demographic and ecological factors (Armijos Orellana et al., 2022), the migration phenomenon has become a highly relevant issue in society. Millions of people cross borders every year in search of better opportunities, fleeing violence (Cabieses et al., 2018), war conflicts, political instability (Del Prado, 2008) or simply in search of a different life (King et al., 2021).
