Abstract
Carbonated beverages are a product of high consumer demand, for which companies are always looking for new ways to improve their production process, so in this article a comparison of two carbonated beverage bottle inspection processes is proposed that allows us to identify which will be the best option for improvement in the process part, to culminate in the packaging of six bottles per pack, helping us in the MATLAB software with the application of Simulink. The first method will be based on an automated visual inspection system that will inspect 100% of the carbonated beverage production, while the second method just 10% of the bottles will be taken as a sample that will be inspected through human vision. To identify the best option, we will measure the average final production of each process in multiple trials, for which it is intended to find out that implementing an automated visual inspection system for quality inspection helps obtain greater production. The result of the hypothesis test indicates that the mean of Method 1 is greater than that of Method 2, so it is concluded that an automated visual inspection system is more productive than human vision inspection.
