Abstract
In the context of the “liquid lives” typical of the con-temporary world and with the conjuncture of social isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic in between, the fourteen articles gathered in this volume seek to reflect on the meaning of life, from theological per-spectives , philosophical, artistic or pedagogical, but always having the community as a horizon of arrival. From the encyclical of Pope Francisco Fratelli Tutti and the pedagogy of love in Don Bosco, to the humanism of José Martí and Foucault's Epimeleia Heautou, pass-ing through figures such as Ignacio Ellacuría and Estanislao Zuleta, all the concepts and authors worked on in these texts emanate a critical look at individualis-tic perspectives on life, which seek to give it meaning from selfish enjoyment and isolation. Thus, each arti-cle challenges us to find the best way to inhabit the world with others and then ask ourselves about the meaning of our lives.
