Security technologies to improve risk management against natural or anthropic disasters in Ecuador

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

The integration of three security technologies implemented in an event-based architectural style was analyzed. The problem is ineffective or absent communication between government entities that promote risk management against natural or anthropic disasters and the community. The main objective is to ensure the correct monitoring and dissemination of the action plan against natural disasters that occur in Ecuador, through the integration of Security Technologies. The deductive method and exploratory research were used to examine the information in the reference articles. The result was an architecture style prototype based on events that integrate mass notification, detection systems and alerts, as well as a flowchart to visually represent the management process path. It was concluded that the proposal in question is a communication style that can significantly improve the collaborative communication and information flow of the entities involved.
