Abstract

The second edition of the Salesian Congress of Science, Technology and Innovation for Society, CITIS, held on December 2 and 3, 2015 and organized by the Salesian Polytechnic University (Guayaquil campus), provided an ideal space for the presentation, dissemination and exchange of important research (national and international) to research professors and the university community in general. The works collected in these Academic Reports belong to different lines of research in the area of Engineering: Telecommunications, Automation and Control, Industrial Processes, Electrical Power Systems, Telematics and Applied Informatics, areas of interest in this second edition of CITIS. It should be noted that the concern for the human and social dimension through the responsible development of science and technology is evident. The realization of this Congress has highlighted the importance and relevance of the research activity generated in universities (in projects developed by research professors and even by undergraduate and graduate students), as well as the high levels of academic and social commitment.
